Ticks produce worldwide the second most vector-borne diseases behind Mosquitos!
The most dangerous part is to remove the tick from the epidermis.
The normal way to remove a tick is either a normal tweezer or a special kind of tweezer, special developed to remove ticks. Both methods have the disantwantage that the body of the tick gets squeezed. Saliva and blood from the tick can go into the skin and spread the disease. If you squeeze too much it can easily happen that the Rostrum (head) of the tick get ripped of and stay in the skin and cause infections.
